Joey & the Boy
Joanne & Paul are full time musicians who started their duo
“Joey and the Boy” in 1993.
They have had a long successful career both in Sydney and overseas, working for 7 years in 5 star hotels and ships including the Nagoya and
Tokyo Bay Hilton Hotels for 2 years in Japan They worked for 5 months in Dubai and then 5 years working for Princess Cruises, cruising around the world to over 70 countries.
Jo and Paul work many varied types of gigs in Sydney, from RSL clubs to playing at Darling Harbour Convention Centre performing for corporate clients, themed parties as well as weddings.
They have just been nominated once again in 2012 and in 2007 and 2008 Duo/Trio Category for Best Covers Band at the ACE Awards.
Jo & Paul are always expanding their repertoire to stay up-to-date but also keep the "old favourites" for their regular clientele.
Joey & the Boy have a nice following of regular dancers who attend their gigs, from Rock’n’rollers to Ceroc dancers there is something for everyone – even the country fans. Yeehaa!
